Best comic shop in Austin. Huge selection, knowledgeable staff. Good for not only comics, but games and art as well if you check out the stores in the same shopping center.
I especially enjoyed watching people walk out with their purchases so happy, it made me happy too. My daughter was buying a gift for someone on her job recently promoted; nicknamed Robin. She found him a Nightwing comic book, I thought that was cool. Best in town
Now, for the review, if you have no other place to stay it's not so bad. Beats a lot of the alternatives . Unfortunately it has become a hotbed of K12 activity ensuring a heavy police presence.
This is a fun place. There are three shops in the complex and all are worth a visit. This one is the main shop, next door is the high value collectables (all three have collectables though) and around the corner at the end is the discount shop. Go if you like anime, comics and pop culture.
This is the main Austin homeless shelter. My friend is homeless (I have been in the past) and borrows one of my phones. That is why it occurs often in my visited places
This place has a tremendous collection of comics and graphic novels. Besides that, they are beaming with novelties, collectibles, and souvenirs. Aside from inventory...it’s so clean and well kept. Staff is accommodating.
