Room for improvement: More knowledgeable and engaging staff interacting with attendees would encourage people to come back. Maybe throw some light activities to break the ice among the new social environments.

Nice place with some great European art. It's kinda small so you should be in for no longer than 3 hours. Also it's free admission on Thursdays

Beautiful museum conveniently located off of 35 and on the UT Campus. Easy parking in the garage right next to it. It’s not the largest museum but the staff is great and so are the alternating exhibitions.

I wish I could give no stars. I am WHITE and like the reviewer below had a very unpleasant experience where we were followed and watched the whole time we were there. This is not a family friendly place whatsoever even though they have children's programs and advertise as family friendly. We drove 40 minutes to get to this museum and my children were very excited but unfortunately we were only at the museum for about 10 minutes because of a man with a ponytail who followed us from room to room ready to pounce at the first sign of my children touching ANYTHING. He was blunt, arrogant, unpleasant, inconsiderate, and rude. He should not be working in a place where he has to interact with other human beings in any way. The ladies at the two front desks were amazing and very kind, welcoming to my children and gave them sketch books. Soon as we hit the second level and caught the eye of Mr. Ponytail our experience totally changed.

Nice Venue, good lighting, decent events

The museum is beautiful and all the exhibits are organized nicely. They have a good selection but it's not the biggest or the best. Very nice place though to receive general information or info for college projects

I attended a few events in this museum and I enjoyed the art, the cultural diversity, and the spreads are pretty good.
