Have been coming to this art gallery for years. Love that they feature exclusively womyn artists. Great vibes there. It's a great stop on a hot, Texas day!
I've seen many interesting visual and performing art exhibitions at W&TW over the years. I've seen the ceiling covered with downward-pointing scissors. I've seen the space turned into a cavern with handmade stalactites and stalagmites. I've seen clay mold and polyps grafted onto vintage dinnerware. W&TW's parties and events are guaranteed fun. Their exhibition openings, which draw artists and art fans from all walks of life, remain to be some of the best people watching events in town. The gift shop also sells wonderfully unique jewelry, scarves, books, paintings, etc.
I must have gotten at least 200 pokeballs from the Pokecenter at Women & Their Work. I haven't been physically been in, but I'm sure it's great, especially based off of the other comments! Thanks!
Yesterday was my first time to attend an exhibition at the venerable Women and Their Work Gallery for their Red Dot event. I was pleased at the selection of art available; and I was doubly pleased to see names that I recognized. There is also a small gift shop within the store that has beautiful and classy items for the home or for gift-giving.
I like what this place stands for, I love the shop, and I hope they keep staying true to their mission.
