Just went in for a couple things and I had Nicole as my cashier today. She was very helpful and greeted me at the door. Wonderful customer service. She made the stressful experience of jean shopping really pleasant.
They aren't up front and honest about their coupon policy and because they have a no return policy you are out of luck even if you are still in the store when you notice the mistake after you pay. The manager was not helpful. I will never shop here or donate to this thrift store chain again. Don't pay for anything here unless you are absolutely sure because their policies are not costumer friendly.
I love coming here every few weeks to see what "new" clothes they have. I buy my work clothes and my casual clothes from Savers. Why pay $40 for new pants when I can get them almost new for $6?
I hate not giving more stars for this review. I love this location. Shop/donate here several times a month. Staff is usually very friendly. Store is clean and well organized. Waiting for a fitting room is sometimes frustrating on busy days, but the cart full of finds made it worth it.. Prices are reasonable and quality of merchandise is typically pretty good. I needed a Savers fix today. And was disappointed, and quite shocked, to see how much prices have increased since my last visit. I refuse to shop at the Goodwill down the street for various reasons. But mostly because they are way over priced for a thrift store. Savers got all my thrift business since they kept prices reasonable. I saw Walmart and Target items there today that were priced almost, and sometimes the same, as they would be at those stores. I saw higher end clothing double and triple the usual Savers price. I found myself putting a lot of stuff back because of the prices. Which really put a damper on my shopping experience today. I asked my checker, who was quite pleasant, what the deal was. She said that she really didn’t know, but that I wasn’t the first person who had mentioned the price increases to her. She seemed truly upset that I hadn’t had my usual shopping experience there. Not sure why prices have increased so much. I was afraid that once Savers started a customer rewards program that prices would go up as they do with most retailers who offer similar programs. And maybe that’s why the prices are so much more now. I don’t know the real reason. I just know that I won’t be shopping there as much as I used to. I can go to Ross and get most of the stuff I purchased today, brand new and close to the same price. I literally paid more than double today what I would normally pay. And I’m so upset about that. All good things come to an end, I guess. But I sure loved my shopping days at Savers.
There’s nothing really noteworthy about this place. Being organized is probably the stores best virtue, otherwise it just about splits the middle of the thrift store spectrum; it’s neither cheap nor expensive, neither clean nor dirty, and generally has a product mix ranging from awesome to pointless.
