Very convenient for West Campus when you can't be bothered driving out to HEB or other grocery stores. Small grocery store, some things are priced high for convenience but not everything is super expensive. Think a mix of "premium/marketed as healthy" brands like a mix between whole foods and sprouts. Wish they were open a tad later but I understand. Good selection of more niche beers in a pinch, too.
As a market place it was good orginized and well tretment the prices were normal if we count on grocery near us, so the fonds of cooking can find what they need close by.
I'm a Fresh Plus fan, and probably stop here 2-3 times a week on my way home from campus. Living in west campus without a car, this is the only place within walking distance of my apt with any sort of fresh produce. Selection is limited, and prices are a little more than a typical grocery store would be, but I'm willing to pay the extra money for the convenience. They have a good wine + beer selection for their size, and even have a little deli/butcher in the back.
This place is significantly better than any convience store in west campus. It has a wonderful selection of dried goods, as well as fresh and frozen produce. (icecream selection is pretty good, they usually give deals on blue bell). This is the best option for students who don't have a car and can go to HEB or Costco.
It's pretty expensive, and the selection isn't huge, but the people are friendly and most of the products seem to be good for the Earth. Lots of alcohol, but I had issues finding basic baking ingredients.
