One of my most favorite places. SO much variety!! It is pricey, but the quality of ingredients there make up for it. Go to the deli and try the Popcorn Tofu Po Boy or the Buffalo Popcorn Po Boy !!! They are both AMAZING and vegan! :) Otherwise, in the fridge right next to the deli you can always get some popcorn tofu to go (Yes, it's that good!!). I'd also suggest the bagels - which are pretty standard as well as the donuts !! I was so happy because the donuts tasted amazing, weren't super oily, and didn't have any high fructose corn syrup !! If I could shop here everyday, I would without a doubt!
Chill place to get groceries. Friendly staff. Hot foods to go. Comprehensive beer selection. Buddha brew by the growler.
So much fun to shop here! I adore everybody who works here, they are the best! Also, the organic produce selection rocks!
Been a member as long as I've been in Austin. The bulk section really helps me in my zero-waste goal. Ethical eating is much easier when I know the co-op is very careful about the items they stock. The deli is fantastic! I love the vegetarian Frito pie and the burritos at the south location. And they have the only ready-made vegan sushi without cucumbers that I know of in town.
Would give it 0 if I could. Some of staff and management very rude. The staff handle food with no gloves. Some of the staff talk disrespectfully and still want respect when talking to them 0 for customer service 0 for inconsistencies in quality of products. I tried to support , but unfortunately won't be back. Everytime I go there i am followed if i am going to steal. Not many people that look like me work or shop there. This is Texas.
