Great workout! My abs are screaming. My 6 pack is still hidden, but will appear no later than Feb 14, 2018. Yessssss!
This location used to be the best in Austin. Not anymore. For four months the gym has been consistently filthy. I have reported it to the manager of this location twice over the last two months and nothing has changed. So I called the regional manager who said she would take care of it and call me back and never Took care of the problem. Once more I'm at the gym and every machine is just gross. There is so much accumulated dirt that I had to let the soap sit on the metal before wiping it clean with a paper towel. It might appear as though the machines are scratched but they're not. It's just an accumulation of dirt. Today I'm going to call the corporate headquarters to report the issue. Let's see if that helps.
Clean atmosphere with food amenities. Small free weight section missing some key elements. I would have rated it a 3 but it's a clean atmosphere for a gym.
I don't usually leave reviews unless I have a really good or really bad experience at a place. My experience here was really good! I wasn't sure about joining because I usually do not like large chain gyms. I would rather go to a smaller local gym. After taking a tour, I was really impressed with the facility and the price that I got. Jenkins is the one who signed me up and also gave me the tour. He was very friendly and did a great job. I did not feel like he was trying to sell me on anything but rather just show me around the facility. Thank you LA Fitness and Jenkins for the great experience!
The gym is clean and the people that come here are polite. Unfortunately customer service hit a low today. The sub failed to show up for a Zumba class. Staff acted clueless and the manager ran to hide. At least have the courtesy to come in and apologize. One of the Zumba regulars stepped up to lead a pretty full group that showed up. I went to treadmill to do a regular routine and saw the front desk people pointing and laughing at the class. Sad to see. Don’t expect above and beyond, just come and do your workout.
