Chris's is a small liquor store on South Lamar, but they handle just about everything you could need. I buy wine there, and the staff are always pleasant and often knowledgeable about the wines, both domestic and foreign. They are also happy to help but not cloyingly eager. Give 'em a try!
This is my newly appointed Go-To liquor store. We came from out of town for the game and this store had everything you need and more. The staff was super nice and willing help me find what I needed.

The store is a wonderful paradise of everything you could ever want in a liquor store. The gentleman who was working 10/9 at 4:30 pm was AWESOME. He gave us tons of info on the store and the owner’s love of bourbon. He shared upcoming events the store was holding, recommended tequila for us, and made us laugh! The first time we came to the store a couple weeks ago he was also here and was very pleasant and funny then too! 10/10 will return for the awesome selection and great staff.
