I see an awful lot of city employees standing around watching one or two people doing a job. I even know of a women that works for you who doesn't need the money but wants the Insurance. How many more are doing that. Austin needs to be run like a business instead of greedy people. It's so very sad to set back and see this. The older generation built this city and over the last ten years it's been made into a hunger
Why pray tell has Austin allowed itself to become so expensive?. Austin has a monopoly on electricity and water. Why? Austin charges ridiculous prices on both

and yet Austin is taking in 500 more families a day into the Austin area. Whose getting the money that's taken in. With that many people the cost of living here should not be so expensive. Too many people moving from up north and out west to Austin and now they are running out city just like the states they came from, How can you sleep at night knowing how many people are having trouble just making ends meet.
Monger! Why don't y'all give the city back to hard working citizens that work here. Most of your own employees can't even afford to live here. SAD SAD
I'm along with my wife and both sides of our families are born and raised Austin Texans that being said.
I'm always amazed at the level of disconnect and incompetency of the city permitting and code enforcement. What a joke.
