Apparently many of the staff took today off to maximize the long weekend.

I have called up here more then 5 times just needing information on permits and every single time i get sent to someones voicemail. I leave detailed messages and a week later still no call backs. Horrible services.
I once went to the City's planning and review department and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't. All I needed was a simple 'quick turnaround' permit for a small $125 remodel. Fast forward three weeks of waiting and I still don't have a permit, my wife left me because she thought I abandoned the family, and my kids won't speak to me. I still hope to one day reconnect with my family and maybe get that permit.
