It is a high end outdoor shopping center with some good restaurants. However, it turns into a louder and very busy party zone at night. Moreover, one could find it a tad artificial or strange.. But if you want a nice place to walk and realize some venues are loud it's decent place to see.
The Domain is the perfect spot for any occasion. It's great for shopping and a lil day drinking. Or if you want delicious food there are nice places to eat. There are rooftop clubs, dance clubs, Irish bars, and arcade game bars. You can't go wrong!
The Domain is Austin's premier outdoor shopping mall. The negative is that it feels a bit more like something you might find in Dallas than Austin, but the positive is that it features tremendous cultural diversity and has a number of fun places without the traffic of going downtown. Places like Culinary Dropout, Toulouse, and North are excellent restaurant options for individuals, couples, or families. Having a huge Apple store, Whole Foods, Barney's, Nordstrom, and a Tesla store are a huge plus as well. I would recommend it and I hope they continue to focus on ways to make it walkable and restrict vehicular traffic.
They did a great job with free parking. Prefect variety of food and shopping for all budgets. Very clean and friendly. Centrally located. Perfect for friends and family!!
The domain is a really fun shopping experience. It's similar to the outlet mall but the walking distance to each shops can be a toll. They have most of the brands you are looking for and still expanding. Every time I visit Austin there's always a trip to the domain.
