nothing there. has gone down over the years. but does have the best CVS in town
Run down shopping center. CVS is perfect, I‘m so disappointed that the thrift store moved away, without any info if or where in Austin I could find them.
Only one employee was working..long line. Yet I found what I needed and at a good price
This shopping center is not new by any means, and it's been through some changes over the years, but a couple of businesses have been here since I was a child in the 80s. Mandarin Chinese Restaurant still has good food at reasonable prices, too bad Pancho's is gone, replaced by a pawn shop and a Subway. Family Thrift is excellent for those who could spend hours going through clothes, dishes, whatever, looking for that perfect bargain, it's chock full of 'em! Located at the BUSY South Austin intersection of Oltorf and South Congress, it's host to a fair share of down on your luck people, but this is my neighborhood, and I assure you, the reviews commenting on the yells and such, those don't come unprovoked, keep in mind, they're human too and none of us are any better than the next! Treat them with respect, I promise they'll treat you the same
