THIS IS BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE AND VERY HURTFUL CONSIDERING WE HAVE BEEN LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND VERY KIND DESPITE FEELING LIKE WE WE ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND TREATED UNFAIRLY. THIS BANK HAS CAUSED US A LOT OF PROBLEMS!!!!!
They never solved any of my problems the entire time i was banking with them when i called it trying to get things resolved (minor things at that).
We deal with this bank daily, and we have for many years. This is a fantastic group of people to work with who truly take care of their customers. Thank you for the many years you have supported my family personally as well as our business endeavors.
SO NOW NOT ONLY DO ME AND MY HUSBAND HAVE TO GET A NEW BANK WE HAVE TO CALL ALMOST 50 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WHO WE ARE SET UP WITH ON AUTOMATIC DRAFT AND BUSINESS DEPOSITS AND CHANGE ALL OF OUR INFO JUST BECAUSE THEY FELT LIKE CUTTING MY ACCOUNT OFF .
They cut my husband account off the same day which is a business account at that within 20 min of cutting mine off on 10-07-2016 and said they are cutting his off also because they had a issue with him on 08-31-2016 keeping in mind it has now been almost two months later and now they want to pretend or act like they have a issue with him on the day i call in stating i am not being treated fairly.
They cut my account of on 10-07-2016 and said we will be mailing you a cashiers check in the mail i said no thank you i am heading up there now to pick up my money they said okay. i needed gas about 5 min later and my card was declined and now i have no money,no credit card working and i have a 2 year old in the 100 degree heat with no ac and no one will give me money for gas to make it to my bank.
They can cut your account off with no warning because they can and with no valid reason and with no proof or evidence as to why!!!!
Banking with horizon has been a nightmare.!!!!!!!!!!!!! So let me break it down for you first. So they can shut your card off and issue you a new one whenever they want to without even telling you or checking with you 1st!!!
so i call my bank and tell them all the inconveniences they have caused my and my child and the girl on the phone laughs at me and said well we told you we will be closing your account. WOW! I also told them i feel like i am being discriminated against when i was transferred to a different person and when i told Phil this and he covered up the phone i heard some giggling and talking. AGAIN WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been banking with Horizon for over 10 years and they are top notch in all respects. Great customer service, always willing to work with me on deals, and clean and modern locations. I wouldn't use any other bank.
They can say they are cutting my account off because basically i am not allowed to call in and tell them i feel i am being treated unfairly by them for never ever solving or attempting to solve my problems.

I have moved all my personal and business accounts to Horizon. We have had a great experience with their commercial lending department. I have been a customer for almost 10 years. Overall the customer service keeps us coming back, which is far better than the big national banks.
Feels like a small town bank with incredible personal service. When I started using them, I was assigned a junior banker, Kristin, who has moved up to Assistant Vice President. Despite her promotions, she continues to manage my account and treat me like I'm their only customer. Change from the megabanks. You won't regret it.
