Great Italian gem. You've got to overcome the curb appeal but the setting inside, the service, and the food are excellent. Most authentic and delicious Italian food I've had in the states.
Finally made it to Andiamos and so glad we did. There's a reason it's been around for 13 years. It's simply excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant.
I can't complain about the price of the food because, even after looking over the whole menu, I chose to buy what I did. However, as great as the meal tasted, the price for the amount of food I got should have been far, far less. My friend who was with me ordered their pricey ravioli dish and literally got 4 ravioli squares on a large plate; again, the amount was not worth what we paid. In addition, the first basket of bread the waiter brought to our table was complementary, but since we were still hungry after nearly finishing our entrees, we asked for another basket of bread and we were charged $5 for it. Our waiter did not tell us we'd be charged for it, either. We wouldn't have ordered it if we'd known that.
Andiamo Ristorante offers an appealing dining experience, but you have to be willing to pay a high price if you want to leave feeling full and satisfied. While I enjoyed trying the restaurant and what it had to offer for the first time, I probably won't be going back.
The best Italian restaurant in Austin with a truly authentic menu that lives up to its roots. I spent two weeks on what was essentially a food tour of Italy earlier this year and my meal at Andiamo fits in alongside my best meals from the trip.
Very nice Italian restaurant with a modern take on classic Italian dishes. The bread with spinach and garlic in the middle is a great way to start the meal.
This was my first dining experience at Andiamo Ristorante and it wasn't like I thought it was going to be. It has some positive things going for it, such as friendly staff, an authentic feeling Italian atmosphere and delicious, quality food, unfortunately, the quantity of the food paired with the cost of the dining experience was a bit of a letdown.
