I've been going to Tara since for nearly 10 years - she is incredible! Quality service and fast. Her work is impeccable - you don't know how many times I've been asked by friends (and strangers!) where I get my eyebrows done. Plus, her work lasts longer than any other threader I've been to. Ask for Tara and you'll be a loyalist for life!
Love this place! My eyebrows are perfect every time, I asked Tara to make my eyebrows a little bit thinner, I was nervous of the outcomes but I did not leave disappointed. This place has me hooked! It's a bit more pricey than what others around austin charger, however it is worth every cent!
I usually love Tara's - but I guess that's because Tara is the one who usually does my eyebrows. Today, some younger girl did mine. They always have a tendency to make my eyebrows straight and block-ish. Every time my Mom and I have to ask them to arch underneath a little bit more - and when they do it looks perfect! Today, however, the woman argued with us and said no, that it would make them too thin. And we said no, it wouldn't, as long as she didn't take off too much and only arched on the bottom. Well she completely ignored us and made the exact same shape only much much thinner, and now I look hideous. I shouldn't have tipped her, she was terrible. I'm very upset!
I went to this Salon to get my eyebrows threaded and Henna for my Birthday. I ended up getting my eyelashes done while there, I was told it would be a 45 minute service which sounded amazing, NOPE! I was there for 2 hour only to get out of the chair with my eyes stuck together! After the cosmetologist pried open my eyes that had been taped every way you could possibly imagine, I looked in the mirror at the sparsest eyelashes ever! I told her that one eye was way fuller than the other. Of course she disagreed. While looking in the mirror I noticed that I couldn't even look to the left or the right without the lashes scratching my eyes!. The lashes had been placed directly on my base instead of a mm away! I went home horrified and $120 short on cash. I literally had to go home and peel the lashes off the inside of my eyelid! Talk about painful. I woke up the next day unable to go to work because my eyes were swollen. My boyfriend went back to the shop and thankfully my $120 dollars was returned. I developed a sty on my eye and when I called back to inform Tara of the development she informed me that this salon does not do eyelash extensions! WHAT? She then hung up with me saying she was busy and would call back. After she called back she informed me that she remembered me coming in for my eyelashes, to put baby oil on them and I should be fine. WOW Thanks, don't ever let these people near your eyes!!!
I went to their Barton Creek Location to get my eyebrows threaded. Having moved from another city and getting my eyebrows done perfect everytime, this was a huge surprise. The lady pulled too much hair out of my eyebrow. I could tell she was not skilled in the threading process because when she was threading my eyebrows it felt more like she was plucking them. A good threading process should feel smooth and should go fast. Then she proceeded to use a tweezer. An eyebrow salon NEVER uses a tweezer because they don't have to. After I saw my eyebrow I was literally in tears. Then the person had the audacity to ask me for $20 fee for services. I informed her that I wanted a discount because I was unhappy with her service because she messed up my eyebrow. She stated well you don't have to tip me. I walked out of there fuming and in tears because I was afraid to look in the mirror again. I will NEVER go here again. I suggest you shouldn't either.
