Pretty painted roses on the outside, waste of our tax payers dollars on the inside. This office has merely delayed standard child custody enforcement. That is what they advertise to do, but choke when they are required to do so.
I am having issues with Bertha Gueda Cruz in the DRO office. I am in need of some help and if some one can get a straight answer to me. My issue is this- she is very insistent that she tell my severe adhd child that who he thinks his dad is really is not. He already has a cognitive sometimes of 4 years old and is having some trouble adjusting to this. He has known his step dad since he was about 8 months old, and has no clue otherwise. He says things to Andrew (his step dad-his dad) like I am glad you were there when I was born, you made me laugh. He knows of the real dad as his sister's (Hailey) dad and knows from what she has told him that he was not a very good man and hurt our mother and is now dead. This is why I am unsure why anyone who is of any casework or social work would think or want to break this child's heart, traumatize him in which to cause doubt in his mind, knock him down socially and literally crash his world. How is this in the best interest of any child. I could see if the real dad was alive and there was chance he would want to come back into his life, or would show up in the court room. This is not the case the bio dad is dead. He died in Iowa not in this state or county and was cremated in that state as well. We were not legally other than common law married.Zavian, my son has no recollection of this man and only has heard bad things about him. Zavian (my son) already struggles with self and identity to to the fact he knows and recognizes he sometimes is slower than some and is more overactive than some of his peers. He works hard daily on this with Teachers, counselors, friends and parents,ect. so he can do his best. So when I am asking most in the domestic relations office all I get as an answer is it is policy, but yet fail to find this anywhere in the info I was given or on the web. Would you be willing to help me or point me in the right direction of someone who may as I am wanting to send this email here I have sent you to someone from the news and maybe they can help as well. He talked over me, told me ADHD was NOTHING,last time I did research ADHD was and is something,recognized world wide. Also, clearly had no time for me or acted as if what I was saying did not mattered to him at all, almost belittling and I want to file a formal complaint on him as well if someone could help with that too, I would greatly appreciate this) Thank you again,
