Go for checkups. Not procedures. Doctors were very nice but the bill was a nightmare.
Took both of my dogs there for their 1st dental cleaning. Consult was free, and total for BOTH dogs including blood work and meds (my chihuahua had to have 6 small extractions), was $510. The staff were very kind and informative and called to check on them the next day. Great, affordable basic vet care is what you'll find at Thrive.
Affordable just like is says. Didn't have to wait long in the lobby. I made my appointment online and it very easy. If you go online to schedule, their calendar with open appointment dates and times will be visible. Its usually a 2-3 week wait however. I went for my dogs annual checkup and it only cost me $58. The office visit is $10 and then any other tests they run will be added on. It beats the usual $150 annual checkup I use to pay!
I won't be coming back.
We were referred to Thrive so I pulled up their site, but didn't see the service that we needed. I called them during business hours on 06/05/17, but no one answered the phone so I left a voicemail. When we didn't hear back after a few days, we sent an email. They have not returned our call or responded to our email as of 06/19/17. I don't recommend using any business that doesn't answer their phone during business hours or return communications. I can spend my money elsewhere.
They quoted me $350 to have teeth pulled and said it was an 'overestimate' so that I'd know the most I'd need to spend at absolute worst case. They told me it would have absolutely no chance of going beyond that. Upon picking up my dog, my bill was over $650. That's just poor business, everyone. That's not how you treat a customer you want to come back.
Take your pet somewhere else. Emancipet is much better than this. At least when they call you to come, you are directly taken in.
A friend was finally able to reach them on the phone and help us get and appointment, but I was never able to get through.
They will ask for appointment and when you come in you will wait for half an hour. Why do you even ask for appointment then? What’s the logic? Apparently they over-schedule their calendar. I never waited this long for any appointment. Learn how to become a professional business, folks.
