Very good service from them and their cabs. Clean and they are professional during rides. They also picked me up on time. Would recommend to allcny friends and family.
Most recently I took a taxi from the airport to my home (15 minutes from airport). The driver didn't ask where we were going until we hit the highway... after I had asked if he wanted to know where we were going. After some fearful points of him being unable to drive in a straight line, speeding and at one point slowing down to 40 mph in a 60mph zone to put on his dash cam, I had already decided that I could not tip this man. Not to mention he had no idea of the streets in Austin, he told me "No GPS for me" when I asked if he had one... When we arrived outside my house the meter read "$24.XX" He went ahead and added an $8 tip with out asking! I've never had this happen before, usually they wait for you to enter your own. Needless to say I gave him $0 (and I'm not unreasonable, I typically give 20%). He followed me out of the car at 5 am, raising his voice and telling me I had to tip him. It was outrageous. He continued for a minute or two before I told him I'd call the cops if he didn't leave. This experience was not a good one for the books.
Just hailed a cab (#151) 9/2/17 at 4:45pm at Hilton Garden inn on I-35 frontage road. Three of us ride down to Torchy's Tacos on Congress. Driver never turned meter on and then asked for $15. I believe we were over charged. When questioned driver blankly looked at us and pretended not to understand.
My driver tried to FaceTime his family on the highway tonight coming from the airport and got frustrated when the FaceTime call dropped. Later, he drove into the median on 360 while he screamed in fear. I haven’t had an experience this bad ever in the US.
First time user, didn't have to wait long, driver eager to please, and at least $3 cheaper than American/Yellow. From I 35 area to downtown. So far so good!
