The performance of the University of Texas Symphony Orchestra last night was absolutely amazing. With the exception of one particular concert in Germany , I have never heard anything better, and I have 85+ years of music experience. It was obvious that Gerhardt Zimmermann was leading one of the major orchestrations of his lifetime. Thanks to everyone concerned with last night's Symphony No. 5 (1902) of Gustav Mahler. Thank you, thank you and thank you. I love you all.
