Where do I begin with this place? It's one of the most poorly run offices on campus. Workers are either very ill-informed or blatantly lying about information. I have a running google doc with every time I've been told conflicting and flat out WRONG information here. I've visited one day and was told something and later was told by another worker that they don't know why I was told that information. Students make very serious financial decisions based on their guidance so please train your staff more diligently. I also feel that the office helping students with financial aid/loans should not be staffed with so many student workers. Please hire some more permanent and professional staff. As a graduate student, it's very frustrating to be making inquiries about financial aid with a poorly informed student worker. It's surprising that such a large university has such a questionable financial aid office!
Terrible. I've had the unfortunate pleasure of calling in several times needing help for my daughter. I have had to speak with a supervisor every time. I have been told different answers by every member of their team. Nothing is clear on their website - you submit forms they ask for, then they reject them all saying they need this or that, but they don't tell you that you need this until after you submit the forms. This has caused my daughter to miss the aid deadline. I can go on and on with other issues but you get the point.
There's never a long wait when I go there. I usually go in and out within 10-20 minutes. The office is pretty quiet, and the employees are nice. Will visit again because I need that aid.
They are all terrible at their jobs. They will lie to your face about important financial information just to get you to stop talking to them.
This is by far my least favorite place on campus, they're terrible at communicating with students and never offer the guidance that I wish they did. 1/10 would not recommend
