Sounds like they don't want my business. That's ridiculous.
I called to get a roofing estimate for my duplex that needs a 3 tab 20yr shingle roof replacement and was told (by Gary) that they "don't normally do roofs for duplexes because they install quality roofs that last a long time and those aren't typically what [landlords] want."
I would recommend this company and Gary Whillock to family and friends. It is always nice to know that you are in good hands with someone who is dedicated to his profession and finds his commitment as not work, but a privilege to work skillfully and bring a project to fruition.

I am very impressed and quite pleased with the impeccable work ARC did on my leaking fireplace. Gary Whillock, owner, was very solicitous, professional and explained the work that was to be done. He supervised his staff and was available for any questions I had about the job. He referred me to a U-Tube site where it describes how the process is done to correct the leak on a stone fireplace. He took photographs of the area and instructed his staff to make sure everything was working correctly and that the materials used were state of the art products. After the work was finished, they made sure that there were no leaks by running water on the area. They applied the sealant, lastly and after the torrent of rains in Austin...my fireplace did not leak at all. JOB WELL DONE!
