This is the best gay neighborhood bar in Austin! Where they will know you by name and drink.
Fun dive bar that actually has cheap drinks (a surprising rarity in this town. Too many dives have nightclub prices). Nice bartenders, laid back crowd, decently stiff drinks especially with the price. The lighting inside hurt my eyes, it's too dim, but the outdoor patio is spacious and nice. Was a little hard to use the bathroom since guys kept trying to have sex in the one private room, but you can pee in the alley if you have to. Older, bigger, crowd but also very mixed. This is definitely the best bar in Silver Lake. CASH ONLY, which they don't advertise openly so remember that.

Would have been 5 stars but this place has been messing up a lot lately. Been coming here for a year and at first it was lovely until idk what happend and these DJ's have become terrible. I come here instead of DT because I don't feel like hearing techno all night but BT2 is become a all techno place now. But I still love the staff there, especially Lloyd and Miguel...
I love this bar it a great place to come to to meet new people and hang out with friends
