Old school Tex-Mex diner with a ton of regulars. Their biscuits are the BEST in town! My favorite is the migas plate. I'll be sad to see this place go. :(
This place is historic, so for some reason I feel compelled to give it 1 star at a minimum. The service was fantastic, but the breakfast tacos left a little to be desired there. I ordered 2 bacon and egg tacos and when they came out, they slightly south of warm and I feel like I could spend my time at home making better tacos. The biscuits are light, fluffy, and you can slather them with butter and honey. Legendary, so I ate three of those. Order those bad-boys a-plenty.
Took a while to get a waitress and when she did come over she didn't listen and got all of our orders wrong. Food was pretty average egg with meat or beans. Anyone who can cook eggs could be a chef here. Biscuits we pretty good and all I pretty much ate. Didn't live up to all of the hype.
Great old school Austin favorite. Breakfast is outstanding and super affordable.
This has been one of our favorite places for breakfast for a very long time now. We made a trip to Austin over the weekend and it was a given that we had to stop by as we hadn't eaten there in about 7 years. We had migas, flour tortillas, and biscuits. It was just as good as I remembered. We love the food and the awesome history of Cisco's.
Here's a tip for ya -- the room in the back has much colder A/C. When you live in Texas where the summer is 6 months long, you really appreciate this.
