I saw great reviews of this place and wanted to try somewhere new and within walking distance of my home. We arrived to a semi busy Friday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered beverages and the waiter disappeared for awhile. He made a few appearances talking to another table but that was it. After 20 minutes of waiting for our drinks (and hoping to order some food), we left since we were basically abandoned by the staff.
The pork belly was to die for! Great drinks. Intimate and cozy. Nice date spot.
The food was AMAZING! And the husband and wife who manage it are wonderful. Every single thing we tried was the best I've had - Tuna Tataki, prawns, red snapper special, and crazy awesome banana cream dessert. Can't wait to go back!
I had a wonderful time at Coast. The place is intimate and low key, excellent for a date. Cocktails are beautifully put together and garnished (get the painkiller!). The green ceviche is some of the best I've ever had.
Overall they were nice and brunch experience was good here. Nothing was over the top but everything was sufficient.
