Compete JOKE. A+ for presentation and a F for food! They give away the baked beans for free and there is good reason to, ZERO TASTE! I asked for some hot sauce and I was directed to use the Tobasco on the table, seriously!? The sauce they use is of a water consistency and salty and not tasty. We had the ribs and brisket, while the meats are cooked well it ends there, everything is SO salty, i had to spit mine out. Only good thing this place had was sweet tea and a fun atmosphere. Also my wife and I spent $58.00 on this disgusting lunch. Avoid this place, there are many others that are better!

Iconic BBQ place in Austin. Try not to overeat. Hard to do when seeing all the delicious food. I.love the atmosphere and the food. The staff is awesome and fits right into the place.
Wow. There definitely isn't anywhere like this back home in Jersey. Enjoyed the experience from start to finish and, that's exactly what it was: an experience. From ordering your cuts from the selection sitting right in front of you to the staff trimming your meat down to something manageable to the tasty sides and AMAZING apple cobbler, there isn't anything I'd change about this place. Add in a solid beer selection and I wish I could have squeezed in more than one visit here during my trip... If I'm ever back in Austin, you know where you'll find me for dinner.
I've gone here twice and I LOVE IT. Everything is smoked perfectly, and the pork ribs literally fall off the bone. Their barbecue sauce is vinegar based and perfect. Jalapeno bacon mac and cheese is bomb, beans are free! Staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean... I can't say enough about how amazing the food is though. Sucks trying to find parking because the whole block is for valet but it's worth a walk.
This barbecue house definitely stands out among the rest. Nothing better than a good Pit BBQ, with all of your favorite Meats cooked really well. The turkey and sausage were so so, the turkey had very little smoke and the sausage was mediocre. However, the rest of the meat was cooked to perfection and they have a ton of sides available for your choosing with desserts. This particular Cooper's has a bar as well as an outside patio area. We love this place and we'll be back for more of this Finger Licking Good barbecue.
