This place has absolutely amazing food... my wife and I have been missing great Italian food since our wedding in Italy and Sophia's fulfilled our yearning. The wine list is a little short and I think priced a little high, but it's also good... just not nearly as amazing as the food which is exceptional!
Decent food. So-So service. Much attention was paid to our water selection. I guess if that's your bar - enjoy yourself. I don't care to be troubled with water - show me something good!!
Highly disappointing. The waiter and bar staff were good and their service was was good. The food was served cold not just my dish but the entire table of 13/14. I can understand one dish but the entire table is unacceptable. The manager/ owner failed to make it up to us. He did offer a specialty cocktail (Limoncello) which is no cocktail at all and then went as far as to charge one for everyone at the table after saying it would be compted. He was rude and combative and doesn't really know how to treat customers. The chef also needs to learn when to fire items so they are not served cold. I would not recommend this to anyone especially for the price of the food.
I was there last night, the decor and lightning is beautiful, service's perfect, drinks were fine, what it was SO disappointing, and I'm saying this with love, the food!!! I ordered a risotto and it was so bad! and my date thought the same thing about his entre. This restaurant has a great location.... but it DOES need an urgent re-evaluation/ and changes to choose a great chef, I'd hate to see this place close, I'm not coming back until that.
The atmosphere is also quite nice, a quaint location for some great food. Would consider going back for happy hour for drinks and definitely anytime for the food!
Please, please save your money. This place is awful. The food taste like it was frozen and thrown in the microwave. They ask how you would like your steak cooked, I honestly don't know why because they will over cook it. The manager with the man bun could care less. I'm under the assumption that the reviews that are positive are fake or the people writing them do not know good food.
