Although, I wouldn't recommend this place for casual dining. The service was a bit slow, but that was fine because we were there to pet cats, mostly! We were there for a total of 2 hours and all in all, it was 2 hours well spent.
The employees at the cafe were very nice and hardworking. They were quick to run around between tables to get customers' orders, kneel down to scratch a furry head or two, or give people some tips about some of the cats! The food and drinks were pretty good (although a little expensive) and the cats were very exciting. The Blue Cat Cafe is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or escape to find much needed pet therapy!
This place is a dream!! There is no where like it! It’s so fun to be able to come in, grab something to eat and drink, and play with cats for as long as you like. It felt like it was my own house filled with snuggly cats. Can’t stop recommending it to friends.
This place was just delightful! We loved getting to visit with the kitties on our way through town this summer. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. I wish i lived closer-this would be a perfect study spot!
Blue Cat Cafe is a great place to go to with friends. Its a really chill, vegan friendly restaurant where you get to pet cats and hang out! Its super atmospheric, its food is delicious, and it'd cats are just so dang cute.
The first thing you notice are the cats on the wall. Even though I am not a cat person, I actually don’t like cats, but the ambiance was still good. The service was good. The wait staff was friendly and the food was great. Overall, a great experience. Like they say, keep Austin weird. And this restaurant fits the bill
