Great bike service. I took a very high end bike in for a broken spoke and wheel truing. Picked it up 3 days later and it felt like a new bike. Of course the spoke was fixed and the wheels were true. He had also inspected the bike and found a slightly bent derailleur hanger that he straightened. The bike now rides and looks better than it ever has. I suspect he went over the whole bike and fine tuned any adjustment points. I came out a very happy customer with a bike that worked better than ever. I with I could get this kind of service other places. Thanks Nelo!
Excellent bike shop. Nelo is a great bike mechanic is expert at bike fitment. He has quality bikes too.
My wife says that I’m an “ADD/OCD/SOB”. She’s right. When I lived in Austin Nelo’s was just right up the street so it was convenient, which is why I stopped in the first time. But with that first visit I discovered what a fantastic guy Nelo is, how welcome I was made to feel, and what great mechs they are. Seven years age I moved about 450 miles away from Austin, and it’s now a hard 7 hour drive from where I am now. But when I need my bikes serviced, parts replaced, or equipment upgraded, I make that drive...every time. Nelo’s is the only place I use for anything with my bikes. Period. If a fourteen hour round trip and overnight hotel room just to have a bike worked on isn’t enough endorsement, I don’t know what is.
Interesting concept, Bicycles, Coffee and even a drive thru. There is plenty of outside seating to enjoy your beverage. However, there is an incongruent lack of places to lock up a bikes.
Nelo got great selection of saddles. I went there and tied several different seats in no pressure environment. He literally has a wall full of saddles. You can even take the saddles home and try them out for a week. If you have saddle comfort issues then nelos is the place to go to solve it.
