I and many others like me simply can't afford to spend this kind of money on small routine procedures. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed - great doctor, totally unaffordable and unreasonable treatment prices
Dr. Baucum and his staff were wonderful. This was my first visit since we had moved back to Austin, and I am very grateful to my friend for the referral to Dr. Baucum's office. So glad to have found them, and close to where I live also.
Dr. Baucum and his staff are fantastic! After moving to Austin, my wife and I were looking for a good dentist and have been very pleased with the services they provide. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.
The big draw back is that he isn't in network with ANY insurance companies, so even if you call and are told they take your insurance, they probably will be billing you for the majority of the treatments. When I called I was led to believe they were a provider for my insurance, but after the initial visit and one filling, I walked away paying almost $400, when according to my dental benefits I should only be paying 20% in or out of network.
This has always been a wonderful dental office. I have been a patient since before Dr. Baucum took over the practice from Dr. Ross. The staff has been there for years and I've been able to keep my same hygienist for many, many years. That speaks volumes to me - that the staff is happy and content with their workplace. I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes a down-home friendly office with the latest in technology and procedures.

Dr. Baucum is an awesome dentist who takes time with his patients, and isn't drill-happy like so many dentists these days.
