I love this store! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and little bit of everything (general store). Highly recommend to anyone.
This store (Spicewood Spgs) is exactly like the small town hardware store in the town where I grew up. It's like going back in time. They have items I didn't even know were still being made and the people are friendly and unlike Home Depot they actually know what they are talking about when you ask a question. I've moved to the Lamar area and I still find myself going to this store once in a while.
I went in the store looking for a security screw-bit that was supposedley only made in china. Well its actually not made in america but i showed them what kind of screw i needed and they helped me make it. I dont know if any other place would do this but they saved me ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY. I am so grateful for the gentleman, Mike for helping me out. I will only do my hardware shopping there from now on.
