Worst burger and fries I have ever had. Bun was soggy and the meat was burned on one side. The best part was the burnt mushroom on the burnt side. I didn't order mushrooms, I ordered a plain cheese burger. The fries , if you want to call it that had been refried several times. And a flat coke all for $15.00. And I waited 30 minutes for it. And no they were not busy.
For me Five Guys has the best burgers in town. I just like how massive their burgers are and the crisp fries. Yes, they are expensive, but I still love them. However, I don't love this particular branch/location. Something is weird about this location. The floor plan is weird, the kitchen area looks unorganized, one of the soda machines was broken, it's not very clean (I call it like I see it - sorry) and some employees don't seem very attentive.
There is a huge difference between this location and the one on William Cannon and S Mopac where I never had a bad experience and where the store is as clean as can be.
Overpriced. Ordered a jalapeno double cheeseburger with fries and a small shake. Cost $16. And they forgot the jalapenos. The shake was mediocre. Just expensive ice cream. Could have took a friend to Whataburger for the same price and had a better burger. Don't waste your money.
The one reason it doesn't get one star is the fact I've been to five guys before that didn't have milkshakes and it was a huge beef on my part (haha beef). This one not only had milkshakes but it pleasantly surprised me. When I got it, it looked runny so I was concerned. But not only was it the perfect consistency it was legit delicious. It almost tasted like they used custard or some other heavier cream ice cream dessert.
Not sure why anyone would give them awards. Completely overrated, you want a good burger then don't go here and if you do go to Five Guys, don't get their fries...
Expensive for something that has the feel of a fast food joint. Fries were soggy. Burger was only better then McDonald's. That's not saying much.
