While this company initially started out efficient and reliable, that quickly went down hill. The property owner would frequently drive passed the residence, spying on us. It was a hassle every time I needed a work order completed. The maintenance crew would say they completed a job, when they did not even come to the residence. Also, I had moved into the property as a room mate to help a friend out. That friend ended up breaking lease 5 months into a 13 month lease, leaving me with the bill. When I informed Hindsite of the situation and to inform them that I was not at fault, they were completely unwilling to work with me at all and expected me to pay ALL fees regardless of who was at fault. I will never work with them again, nor recommend them to anyone I meet.
While we got a good deal on our house, we have to fight for any amount of service and the people that come to fix stuff will often call a job done prematurely. In addition, I've been charged late fees before hitting the deadline for late fees. Would leave if I weren't financially locked into this address. I do not recommend this company.
Naomi was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help me find an apartment when I first moved to Austin, and then worked with me for months to find the perfect home for me to purchase. I highly recommend Naomi Bourgeois of Hindsite 20/20, and have not hesitated to refer others to her.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY. Absolutely awful service. Actually, I have received NO service. How the hell does Hindsite keep their doors open? There is absolutely no communication whatsoever. This company has proven again, and again, and again that they do not care about the customer. I would use some select 4 letter words if it wouldn't lead to this review being deleted. I have needed my washer and dryer fixed for THREE MONTHS and there has not been a repair man sent out, and it's damn near impossible to get anyone on the phone. When you DO get someone on the phone, they are rude and unpleasant. This company is garbage, the people are garbage, and the CEO/Owner must be a piece of trash as well to run their business in such a manner. Trust the ratings and reviews and DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THE MIDDLE MAN FOR LANDLORDS AND DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE TENANTS.
I was so impressed with Hindsite during the application process. Having worked in property management for 5 years, I know what it takes to offer great property management services and Meg Rissler does just that. She has been so amazing. But the girl they have working the front desk at the Koenig location had poor customer service and ruined my feelings about Hindsite. After I handed her my $1500 check to move in, she wouldn’t help me find information I was needing about moving in. When I requested her help, she was rude and dismissed me and told me I could figure it out on my own. I instantly regretted having rented from them and we haven’t even moved in yet!
Meg gets 10+ stars for me. But the brunette at the front desk gave me a bad taste in my mouth and totally took the excitement out of our moving day. Hopefully we won’t ever have to deal with her going forward. And forget about me using them for real estate services next year when we buy since she’s the face of that department.
