The FRESHEST Thai I've had in Austin. They sell out of the more popular options from time to time, but everything on the menu is great.
I would totally come back here and recommend it. It is a food truck so mind yourself in the weather, there are some tables but this truck shares the same food truck park as La BBQ so seating could be slim depending on the day and time. There is street parking near by but also same applies since a lot of people go to the surrounding bars and food trucks.
I'm toxic but I'm honest. Let me say something real different, ok? I have a real big question mark in my brain: nobody even want to say how bad this place is? I had reviewed their food menu carefully and tried two on that last week. I can't see any special technique or highly required cooking skills involved in their food. To be honest, I don't want to spend money on something that is really easy to make. I also watched their YouTube video and I deeply believe that the FOX7's brain has some serious problem. Come on dude! There are a bunch of good Asian food out there, like Chinese food or Japanese food, which requires a lot of time and high level skills to cook. The Thai foods here at DEEDEE are fairly overpriced.
this place is awesome. it's northern Thai food so don't come here expected pad thai, but their food always hits the spot. The staff is really friendly too. I've never had something here that didn't make me happy.
Authentic, Simple, Spicy Thai food. The food taste is astonishingly good. Could be little more spicy than you expect.
The Sticky Rice and Mango here is awesome! The rice is just the right amount of warmth and you get an entire mango as compared to other places where you only get half the mango. The portion is huge so if you think $7 is a bit much for the dessert, it's totally worth it, you can share if you really wanted to but I wouldn't since it's so good and delicious!
I came here on a weekend with my friend who has previously been here. We both only got sticky rice and mango. As I said there are about a handful of entree options and none of them were as appealing as dessert.
This review is only for the Sticky Rice and Mango, since the food options are fairly limited.
The only not so good part is the timings. Closing by 9 pm is quite early- atleast they should open till 09:30 pm on weekends.
