The "host" looked angry, never acknowledged us. After 10 mins of waiting a waitress tells us she can seat us but there is a 40 min wait. We were seated, our orders were taken and then we waited for about an hour. My plate arrived sloppily put together with cold cheese on my potatoes and two items missing. The restaurant was mostly empty. We were told the cook was new. This location is known for very long wait times prior to being seated.
The worst experiences we’ve ever had @ a Denny’s. As soon as we get there the waiters asks how many we were we told her we were 20+ and as soon as we said that she States that we were too many and they couldn’t serve us bc they were understaffed, and I told her that wasn’t an excuse, but we were very hungry so we told her that we could wait, and yet again she says no y’all cannot be served, she even told me she would bring the manager out to explain why. This lady’s were obviously being lazy, bc they had food sitting in the window in a total of 15 min or so while she waited for us all to leave.
Everyone but me was happy with their food and the service wasn't bad. The pancakes here and the various menu offerings make this place a consistent good diner style food option. Their prices are also very reasonable. Pictures I provided are of my runny eggs after asking for medium.
Today I visited Denny’s at 7:15pm this evening. When the hosts welcomed my by saying “welcome there is a 45min wait because we are full” it was obvious she is being sarcastic because there was 2 other families in the restaurant with 3 waitress cooks and a bus boy, so they are well staffed. My waitress took my order as soon as I sat down since I was in a rush, and was about 7:18pm, and 5 min later I received my salad, I ate it and waited 25min and asked my waitress, “how much longer for my food” her response was “they just started making it, so coming out soon”, now I’m getting irritated, because now it’s taking 25min to start my meal, with all the other customers with their food on the table.. The entire time I was at Denny’s, all I heard was goofing off in the back kitchen, since I was seated right next to it. I could not wait any longer, and as hungry I was because the last time I ate was 8am that morning. I ended up paying $6.15 for a very small dinner salad and a sweet tea I took two sips of. That was the worst experience I had eating at Denny’s. Definitely not recommended to eat at this location at night.
Convenient location, never too busy when family and I go. Friendly and awesome waitresses, food is good ordered like we want. Love Tuesdays kids eat free and love coupons
