Lobster roll (Maine) is excellent and the side salad was a delightful surprise. Also had the lobster bisque had a great balance of taste, without being too fishy and with nice tender chunks of lobster. The staff was very nice, attentive and the decor was casual but cozy. I would definitely recommend Garbo’s (in fact I just did to the desk clerk at the hotel I’m staying). :)

You would have thought that I asked him to walk on water. All he could offer was his Brooklyn sarcasm and left- blockIng me from "safely" moving my much bigger vehicle. Your food might get good reviews, but you Sir could use a lesson in manners and Texas hospitality. I'll make sure to let all of my Austin & Hill Country friends know and you'll realize that we don't tolerate rudeness in a man. Best of luck to you.

The food was remarkably great and the staff was very kind and thorough. The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is the price. Otherwise, I highly recommend coming here.

I love seafood and I am always on search for something new!.. this place caught my attention after a couple times of driving by and so I stopped in and tried it during late afternoon hours, it was pretty empty, which I enjoy!.. the basic dish I ordered the was lobster bisque and after prompt turnaround and presentation I was impressed along with the staff's attentiveness and the layout of the restaurant. I wasn't pleased with a basic dish it didn't taste that great... it lacked rich flavors and more meat!, I might return and give another dish an oppourtunity but may order something more filling as well.

We had the crab cake and tomato basil soup which were both very good, original and devoured in seconds. Then I had the "Taste of Maine" which was 3 toasted and seasoned bread rolls, one stuffed with shrimp, one with crab and the last with lobster. My girlfriend had the fish tacos from the menu of the day. They were also quite good. I immediately had visions of inviting my friends and family for a meal here and everyone saying how awesome I was, haha! Needless to say, I will be recommending this place and returning in the future.

My experience is not with the food, but the interaction between myself and the man driving this gut truck. The driver of their food truck doesn't know that I love being a Google Guide and my review(s) could possibly make you famous or sink your business. The driver of this truck was exceptionally rude and arrogant when I politely asked him if he'd pull up closer to the body shop before he left & before the repair shop opened.
