Been coming here since the day they opened the doors. Depending on the chef someday the food is good and others the food is excellent. Definitely a good atmosphere and friendly staff. A big plus is I've never walked into a dirty bathroom here either lol. Give it a try and I'm sure you and the family/friends will enjoy it.
We found this restaurant about three months ago, and have been going there regularly. We are always happy with the food, and each of us has found our favorite. The 15 year old loves all the burrito dishes, and my husband lives all its breakfast plates. My favorites are the a la mexicana dishes! Great place for the whole family
The place wasn't busy at all. The servers were nice. I got the Texas plate special which was great and the portion was big. The carne guisada was very tender. The beef enchiladas we're delicious. Very good food for my first visit.
Pretty decent food & prices. Been here twice; it's not easily seen from highway or road so when visiting the liquor store next door, we noticed it & ate there on our next date night. It wasn't busy at all on a Friday night which makes me wonder...but the visibility of this place may be the reason. Unless you hear about it word of mouth or happened to drive by, you don't know it's there. (Of course there's always Google if looking for a Mexican restaurant). May try it again but I like driving around to find that "one great mexican restaurant" & this wasn't it. Again though, food is good, just not mind blowing.
Both of my experiences here were not pleasant and I do not recommend this place.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I have been here two times and both experiences were horrible. The first time I came here I was probably with a group of 15 people and I ordered a kids quesadilla. I got my food about 30 minutes after everyone else in my group got theirs. When I did finally get my order, it was wrong so I sent it back to be fixed. I got my food as everyone was walking out the door. The food wasn't all that good either. The second time I came here, the service was worse than HORRIBLE!!! I went with a group of friends and this time there was probably 30 people. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered a side of fries. Once again I was the last person to get my food. When everyone got their food, I asked the waiter about my fries and she said she would get them right away. They never came. I asked at least 15 more times and they never came. One of the times I was asking the waiter, she completely ignored me and walked away while I was in the middle of talking to her. Some of the people at my table had fries as their side and they got them which means that they did have french fries. After an hour and a half, another person joined our group since they were late. They got their food before I had gotten my side of fries. I asked at least 10 more times along with pretty much the rest of my table. None of the waiters waiting on us would bring it to me. I had to go get someone who was not our waiter to finally get them and when they finally came out, there was probably 8 people left of the original 30 and on top of that, the fries were dry.
