Perhaps this story sounds a bit dramatic, but it was a phenomenal dining experience and you just have to try Odd Duck for yourself because as dramatic as I am, I promise I am telling the truth - it was phenomenal.
This was my absolute favorite place in Austin! We had such a wonderful experience here. I highly recommend sitting at the bar, as the service was exceptional and fun! The food was delicious, delicious, delicious! I can’t wait to go back here! They do have easy valet parking as well.

I always come here when friends are in town and I have to take them somewhere nice out with absolutely DELICIOUS FOOD. Their menu changes, so I would check online what they’re serving. But regardless of what they have, I can guarantee it’ll be super tasty. Odd duck is a great place for people who are wanting to try new dishes.
I usually do not leave reviews, but our experience warrants a show of appreciation. My husband and I went to Odd Duck for a date night and it was deliciously entertaining from start to finish. The young man doing the valet was extremely charismatic and hilarious, so we felt good even before we got in the door. The hostess informed us that we would have . 15 minute wait, but we did not mind since it gave us the chance to people watch. While we were waiting they rushed over and asked if they could offer us a beverage, and then it felt like no time before we were seated right by one of the chefs! The chef and the team all seem to be a well oiled machine! We watched them take great care and passion cooking and plating the food. I was drooling most of the time. Our servers had great energy and made us feel right at home. When the food came we scarfed it down and EVERY SINGE BIT OF THE MEAL WAS DELICIOUS!!!
It was also pretty cool that most of the guest were also pretty nice and all seemed to be having the times of their life.
This is one of my favorite places in Austin, which is saying a lot! The food is always creative, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! They source a lot of ingredients from local farms and you can taste the quality and freshness! Happy hour is a great time to try a variety of their amazing foods and a rotating specialty cocktail. Lots of beer and wine specials as well. Never disappointed at Odd Duck!
WOW! In town visiting family, we could not have made a better decision in eating here (7 adults, 3 kids under 6). One of the best experiences I've had. Justin was PHENOMENAL!!! He knew the menu inside and out, no questions left unanswered...Farm-to-Table menu changes with regularity, the creativity and flavor profiles left nothing to be desired...from the pork belly to the fish head, nothing short of spectacular!
