Hands down the best Mexican restaurant! The enchiladas are incredible! My wife and i come here 1-3 times a week. And the prices are are great!
Favorite breakfast tacos in town. I moved away and talked my husband into driving for them. An hour after their open time, the sign says closed. Peeked in to have someone tell us there isn't a cook for another hour. Stuff happens, fine. But why didn't you answer the phone? I called twice to put in a Togo order, had someone answered I could have been saved the drive. Thanks guys.
Horrible place. Bad food. Nothing at table. Had to ask several times for evwrything. Finally grabbwd stuff from other tables. Added charges to bill that are bs. Avoid at all cost. Needs to be shut down.
We have been to the Palvos in South Austin numerous times and, although the wait is sometimes long, the food, service, and atmosphere is worth a 5 star rating. We were staying on the north side of Austin this trip and decided to visit the Bratton location. We were seated immediately and the waiter was soon at our table. He asked in we had been there before and we explained we had been to the one on the south side a number of times. He explained they had the same great food without the wait as the other location. We should have taken the hint, because we were about to find out why. We knew what we wanted and started with the drink order. My wife and friends ordered a pitcher of strawberry margaritas. The waiter says, I think we are out of strawberry and went to the bar to check. Yep, they are out of strawberry. They ordered raspberry, which they did have. Out of the second most popular flavor of margaritas? Hum... On to placing the order, two orders of fajitas and a salad. The trip to the salsa bar found no bowls for the salsa. Flagged the waiter and asked for bowls. We were the informed they did not have enough lettuce to make a salad and the waiter offered some sliced avocados instead. I had to remind him I had already ordered slice avocados. He asked if I wanted something else instead. I said it would depend on what else they were out of and then explained I would just stop at McDonald's for a salad after I leave here. Order came was delivered and they brought flour tortillas instead of the corn we ordered. Tip Blown! With their inability to provide all options on the menu, it is no wonder this location was half full. We will only visit the south location in future visits.
I walked in and the two waiters and the host??? Was sitting in a booth. The lady walked over and sat us down. My man and I asked for margaritas top shelf. She went back and I could hear her ask one of the guys how to make a margarita. She came back with chips and no salsa. She left again and came back with two orange margaritas. I asked for salsa and she said with a rude attitude that the salsa bar is in the other room. My man went to get the salsa and I took a drink of my orange margarita. It was so disgusting it tasted like a glass of orange juice with tequila in it. We paid $22 for the worst drinks and chips(dry) ever the salsa was good. I would never suggest anyone eat or drink here.
