Pedestrian at best. Clean place, friendly staff. No local beers. Ceviche was oily and served on a plate atop thick, hard, homemade Tostitos.
My boyfriend got the Vegetarian Fajitas. The portions were so huge that he had to actually decline the tortillas because he was sure he'd be full with the rice and the veggies.
I got the Vegetarian Tamales. They were tasty, but nothing exceptional for the price. What was exceptional, though, were the chips and the salsa that we were served in the beginning. The chips were thin and crisp while the salsa was out of the world. We could have just eaten that instead of any other food!
Serve needs to go back to training. Score is so let based on food. Ummmh and no Manager presence. As I was leaving saw all of them huddled at the bar
This is my first real dining experience in Austin and I have to say. .... it's ALL Austin and I love it! Being a native Houstonian, I'm automatically programmed to be a good critic. Not only is the food fresh, the drinks are amazing! Have an El Jefe'!! If you can drink two. .... kudos to you! Prime time on a Friday night and they didn't miss a beat on service. Very very pleased, this will be a regular for me. #skilletsex
Ordered my plate with no onions. Got my plate with onions. Spoke to the waiter about it and had me get another plate. The second plate still came with onions so one of my good friends walked straight into the kitchen to make sure to not make my next plate with onions. I’m sure it wasn’t the server’s fault because she took down her notes. I blame the cook and I was told that she was just flirting around with others. Manager said they’d take it off my tab so that was good. The sides aren’t free. Food was alright. Cocktail selection wasn’t too different but had a good amount of them.
