I found out about Karavel while looking for sales locations for Sam Hubbard shoes. John Brack was very helpful and interested in what I was looking for and brought me several options with his thoughts on each about what I could expect. He was pretty much right on the button when I tried on the shoes and I eventually walked out with two pairs. They did not have my size on an item I was interested in (size 13; I get that you can't stock everything) but he said they would be happy to order if I were really interested. I gladly recommend Karavel and plan to return.
This was the best shoe buying experience ever. Mario knew his stuff. He found a pair of shoes for me that I didn't even notice but based on the things I liked and what I was looking for handouts them. I came for one pair, and walked out with two. Great selection and great service.

They also have experts that can help with insoles. Karavel also sells New Balance.
Quality shoes. Folks that work here will leave you alone if that's what you want or if you sign the list for one-on-one help they'll stick with you to make sure you're taken care of. Been here for I don't know how many years. Good range of different styles.
