Would highly recommend Austin Tri-Cyclist. We were in town for the weekend and wanted to rent bicycles. Missy and company were very accommodating in the return process and exceptionally helpful in getting fit with very nice bikes and accessories to move around the Austin area. They took time to help us get oriented to the area so we knew where to go,
I have had nothing but good experiences dealing with this shop and the people who work there. I get the impression that they use the stuff they sell and it shows. Several years ago, they let me take a Cervelo S5 for a test ride and didn't even ask for a credit card when I rolled it out of the shop. I fell in love with that bike the first few seconds I was on it and promptly purchased one. I have since taken it back to be serviced several times. The mechanics have always done excellent work. I marveled at how nice the bike felt and how smooth all the components operated after these guys gave it a tune up the last time.
Best service and most knowledgeable staff I've ever seen. The environment is very chill and welcoming. A different kind of bike shop experience in all the best possible ways. Best shoe and clothing selection in town by far.
If you are looking for knowledge, go for it!
Wonderful experience. Some shops like these are filled with faces that are neither warm nor inviting. Walking in to Austin Tri I felt welcomed and was put into the hands of Missy to check out the wetsuit options for the upcoming Ironman, she was informative, professional, and incredibly easy to talk to. I look forward to returning.
