This place was a terrible experience for me. If I could rate zero starts I would. I went in at about 12:30 for a simple inspection. They said come back at one when they're done with their lunch break. Which was totally fine. So I come back in at exactly one, I wait about 15 minutes to be spoken to. Then, the man took my car began inspection and about 15 minutes later he returns and says. Sir, we cannot do emissions on your car. I ask why and they said they couldn't get to the ob2 plug because they do not remove interior panels! BULLSHIT! Your a mechanic thanks your job. There is two screws the will allo the panel to drop. It's that simple. Then when he was explaining it to me the main boss told him to go and get started on another car rushed him to do it. In my opinion these guys are lazy. They didn't do my car because it was about closing time. They close at 2. It was at about 1:30 this happens. Do not take your car here, they will charge an arm and a leg. And they are not honest, they do what's best for them. Not the customer. I wasted 3 hours on my day off to get my vehicle inspected. And it still didn't get done. I really am upset with the work ethic they put it
They have helped me out a lot the past 4 years. They offered me an affordable payment plan when my car needed major repairs, low cost loaner cars, and helped me a nice used car when my old one was done for.
Great staff and wonderful service. Also, once I my car's battery died on south congress and they went out of their way to help. 10/10 would recommend.
Hi-Tech Automotive is exceptional! The staff is beyond friendly and they are the most generous people I have ever met. I'm a disabled vet and had been working with a program to get my vehicle situated mechanically and legally with an inspection. I didn't have money for a loaner and they gave me one for several days at no charge! They cared about me as a person and didn't see me as a check. They wanted to make sure that I was happy and got what I needed. I absolutely recommend anyone that has any automotive need to go to Hi-Tech Automotive. They're absolutely amazing! They have a lifelong patron in me as I will return for all of my automotive needs! If there was an option for more stars they'd get them all.
