For a single mother who needs a great company to take care of all car needs, this is the place to go. Patrick listens everytime i go in there no matter how worrisome i am being about my car.
Honest Mechanics!
Tread Lightly! I don't normally post reviews, especially negative ones, but I've taken my vehicle in twice. While they do great quality work, I have found them to be unethical in the information they provide to customers.
We have been taking both of our vehicles here for a few years and have always had an awesome experience! Patrick is a great guy! The prices are fair and they get the job done fast! This time my husbands 98 Chevy Silverado and my 2005 Subaru Forester BOTH broke down on the SAME day at the SAME time!! So weird, but we had both of them towed to Lugnuts and they were both fixed on the same day!!! WOW!
On another note, I have had other auto shops mess up my Subaru because they didn't know how to work on it. This place is awesome with my Subaru!
They fix my air conditioning. Originally it was going to be almost $400 and it really only cost me 220 dollars. They were fast honestly reliable. I'll refer everybody to them of course they do repairs on engines as well.
It would have been easy for them to lie and tell me a new alternator was needed, and I would have gladly paid since I went in there telling them I needed one. It shows how truly honest these guys are to find the simple fix and not charge me.
Well, it tuns out the purge valve is fine and it was simply a broken/loose vacuum hose. I'm told this is absolutely something Lugnuts would have been aware of, and most likely decided to try to sell me (the naive customer) something I didn't actually need (purge valve). And not just a little upsell, we're talking $400.
So I say- tread lightly! Snakes!
After a week of troubleshooting with my mechanic buddies, we are stumped by the fact my car won't start. I just replaced the battery, we checked all of the fuses etc, and could only conclude that a new alternator was in order. So I bring my truck into Lugnuts and tell them I need a new alternator. 30 minutes later they call me back to pick up my truck. Turns out the paint on the battery terminals (newly purchased) was creating a poor connection - so the good dudes at Lugnuts simply scrubbed the paint off and let me free for $20.
Last week I took my vehicle in to Lugntus for diagnostics after the Check Engine light came on. I was told that my Purge Valve was busted and quoted $397 to fix. Since the vehicle was running fine, I opted to pay the diagnostic fee and get a second opinion.
I've been twice. The first time they priced under the other shops I called so I went with Lugnuts and had a great experience. Now for the real story.
