Rising Sun will shoot you straight. Brandon was very relaxed and personable on the phone and took care of my diagnosis by the end of day. I actually left with a smile and a properly firm handshake. I am a student of mechanical engineering, and am pretty handy with my truck, but there was a mystery noise I am not familiar with. Small issue, and also a silly mistake on my part. They gladly fixed me up and sent me on home. I have heard nothing but good news from friends and family, they earned my recommend and loyalty today. Definitely bring your vehicle to these guys!

Follow-up on my previous review of Rising Sun Automotive on Lamar. Today I stopped by for a quick bit of advice on a routine bit of maintenance on my Lexus SUV. Was cheerfully met by the owner who stopped what he was doing and troubleshot the issue in the parking lot - with NO appointment mind you. It's the small courtesies like this along with the fairest prices in town and the friendly and informative staff that has me recommending this place over and over. Look, no one likes taking their car to the shop, its basically like going to the dentist with motor oil stains, BUT if you're in Austin, TX, this is hands down the best place to go. Ask for Brandon, the owner, and he will treat you right. Seriously, this place is one of the few "good guys" in town. Zero hesitation in a full recommendation. Bravo once again Rising Sun!
