The office incorrectly scheduled my appointment for another time after I had already waited three months to try to get a teeth cleaning. The receptionist was defensive and did not seem to care at all that I was not longer coming back. Super disappointed in how I was treated.
I told doctor I'm pregnant and he still do a X-rays on me. Not sure if this is legal, if something will goes wrong with my pregnancy I will contact to my attorney about that incident. I was keep asking to NOT to do it but he insisted and said that if I want to do a cleaning I HAVE to do Xray even if I'm pregnant because I'm a new patient. The nurse put x ray inside my mouth without plastic on it. Not sure if it was sterilized and how many people before me put it in their mouths and what these people sick or healthy. After she did X-rays nurse put it back in the closet and I didn't see her to change the plastic which was in my mouth few seconds ago. So the next person will probably put it in his/her mouth after me. Horrible. I'm pretty sure this is illegal.
Been going to Dr. Patel for years... both he and his hygienists are very professional, courteous, and have always been on time for me. What I like about Dr. Patel is he's very straight forward with what work needs to be done, and what work can wait. He also is good with providing advice as to how to avoid needing certain work that may be impending, which is refreshing as he doesn't seem to be in it just for the money like some dentists.
Dentist is friendly and professional. The dental hygienist is second to none.
My family and I have been going to see Dr. Patel since he opened and we love it there. They treat you like family and I love that they are so up to date on all the latest technology. Dr. Patel has the softest touch and he listens when you inform him about things in your prior dental history. Like the fact that I have a very high tolerance for painkillers and Novocaine is at least a three shot deal. He listened and I never felt a thing.
