I had my first appointment yesterday with Dr.Edgerton. I'm so impressed. Phone calls to the office get you a person, not a recording. The reminder call before your appointment is also made by a human being and not a recording. They listen and pay attention to what you're saying. His office is a really beautiful space, very relaxing and not clinical at all. It's like going to the home of a very tidy and stylish friend.While in the waiting room, I met the office dog who is so soft and sweet. I was completely at ease in this space.
Edited to add: If you are a Depo Provera user please be advised that Doctor and Staff seem to believe that Depo is "poison" and should not be used. They do not advise patients of this peculiar phobia, until said patient is asking specifically for Depo as a possibility for a way to stop their cycle due to extreme menstrual pain and unhappiness. Not a problem that Dr. E and staff believe this, but a problem that they are squirrely about admitting it until after patient has asked repeatedly about Depo and won't be put off by vagueness.
Dr. Edgerton is pleasant, attentive, gets to his appointments on time, and is completely willing to start with the least invasive possibility and work up to something more serious if needed. I hope to be able to keep going to him for a long time.
