As a medical professional, when I call a facility such as this to schedule an appointment, I expect to be able to schedule an appointment. Instead, they emailed me a stack of papers to complete, scan, and email back to them before they would even talk to me. I completed those forms immediately, scanned them, and emailed them in, while in a lot of shoulder pain. I can see a large percentage of the population not having an easy ability to scan documents to an email so they could never get in here.
CEO I go to see Dr. Carrol. He is also very good and I will continue to
I have seen are great including Dr. Joshi!!!!
go to him as I need to. Don't know Julie's problem but all the doctors
I went to Dr. Joshi for years. He did wonders for me. Now that he is
Amazing place. Dr Carrol and Cynthia are fantastic. I didn't love Dr Carrol's personality, but he understood that I have tried everything after almost losing my foot in a car accident 6 years ago. I have had 10 surgeries, multiple steroid injections, years of physical therapy, and multiple sessions of acupuncture and massage therapy. None of it was successful at reducing my pain. Some things just made it worse. Cynthia was almost a therapist some days when I was frustrated by my pain. She listened and cared. It was refreshing. I made the unfortunate mistake of switching to a cheaper HMO network at open enrollment; so Pain Care no longer takes my insurance. I wish I had never switched after having a terrible experience at Austin Pain Associates. Pain Care Physicians treat you like a person- they want all your medical history and look at everything you've tried so you don't waste time on treatments you know won't work for you. I highly recommend Pain Care Physicians.
I wish I could give Dr. Joshi zero stars. I never write a review which is why it has taken me a while to get to this but I could not just let go of my horrible experience with this Physician. I saw him at the age of 23 after a horrible time in my life that left me with chronic pain upon other medical issues that I still deal with today and will have to deal with for the rest of my life. He was the first and only pain management physician I have ever seen so I did not know what to expect. I knew the minute I met him he was judging me because of my age. He was incredibly judgemental and very rude. He spoke over me and would not listen to what I had to say. He knew nothing about me or my lifestyle. Within weeks I went from a college student just enjoying my life, living in my own with a full time job to being in and out of ERs, a hospital stay of 2 weeks and racking up more medical bills than I had money to pay for them. I was so overwhelmed by my recent diagnosis and was hopeful of some kind of pain relief that I became even more depressed and disappointed after leaving his office. I went one time and never went back. I even called them to ask how to break my contract and the young lady who answered the phone was just as rude and cold as he was. I, myself, work in the medical field and in a specialty that requires sending my patients to pain management but I have never and will never send my patients there. I know what drug seekers look like, I see it everyday but believe it or not, some people genuinely do need help and are not trying to deceive. I can honestly say because of that experience (upon others) I have lost faith in the field I once loved. Drs are not like they use to be, you are just another medical record number and they say and do whatever the hell they want to in order to get paid. I know Drs are humans and have off days and maybe this was that time but I will never forget my experience and I will never refer anyone to this office.
They never bothered to call or email me back, and I couldn't wait for weeks to get in, so I went to a recommended place that was across town that was able to get me in right away. Waiting for an appointment at this nearby place would have been problematic. This is no way to operate a medical facility.
worst ever doc just gave me shots and laugh had no typeof numbing or anything
