Grossly understaffed due to the way they treat employees. They ALL know there is only 1(one) place worse than this one! The food is almost worse than eating from a dumpster. Overcooked or undercooked and they run out of food and supplies constantly. Always not enough linens to bathe/clean residents. The equipment never works properly. Safety issues because they won't spend the money to repair stuff properly. Even electrical/cable wiring is Jerry-rigged instead of properly repaired. The pay and standards for this "skilled nursing facility/rehab" are not commiserate with the company's other 59 facilities! Instead it seems more like a charity run place which results in the condemnable conditions of the old old building and staffing issues.
At first I thought this establishment was others you hear about in its abuse and neglect, but this home, with its limited budget, actually tries hard and provides care from the heart. Although there are unpleasant experiences I had here, I would overall recommend Heritage Park.
i was in this place after a stroke and its not as bad as these other people are saying the enployees try super hard an they mop everyday with fabulosa and the food isnt bad they therpy team is awesome i only had one issue that was my room mates,daughter kept the heater blasting on high and they wouldnt tell her anything i was there from march 2015 to april 2015 the enployees really care
I wouldn't want my family is even most of my enemies to stay at this facility. Prisoners are treated better in prison!! They can't even put table knives on the meal trays because the residents try to kill each other!!
Be care take your family there because the employees are mean and ghetto and they don't answer the call light when someone need help. They take hours to answer them. They need help they get ignored them. And the breakfast and lunch and dinner are always late. And some of nurses up stairs are sitting down all the time and talk and talk about food. When calling light it going on they are still stilling there. They not checking person see they are OK. I will not take my family there anymore. And the some staffs are rude there too.
It smell like they mopp the floors with pee its really hot inside and not cold enough . Bacteria can grow.
