Memories....priceless! There are a lot of trees to hang out underneath, fish and turtles to admire and feed ! No worry about second hand smoke...it's against the rules!! The water feature is cool I guess but you can't take your dog I think that's silly because little kids always running around with their poopy diapers I mean really but that is not really that detrimental. This place is good for relaxing reading making art and hanging out. The hill is always fun and there is always a backdrop worth a few pictures there are some sticker burrs and they have a weird habit of closing the bathrooms right when they're needed. Never believe the signs on the bathroom they are always lying. Overall a nice place.
this is where the palmer event center is located & yesterday was the annual Feast of Sharing meal provided by HEB grocery chain. Delicious as always! Thanks HEB.
Beautiful park! My kids especially love the splash pad. Definitely plan ahead for parking because some days we have no issues and others, we have to drive around a bit.
Nice for the kids in the summer with the splash pad, but they really need to make a gazebo or something ...but if you are lucky you can grab a spot to sit under the trees in the shade.
There's a water fountain here that kids can play in, a lake, a little boardwalk, and lots of grass. Parking here is free as long as there's no special events going on nearby. I usually bring my dog and walk over to the river where some other dogs are also playing around in an off-leash area.
