Great location to get together with friends and family. Close to downtown, near UT campus. We enjoy the picnic area and volleyball courts.

Great place for parties & play! There are nicely shaded tables that one can rent for $60 to hold a party. Most weekends there will be several parties at once. There are trash cans on site which is nice. There is a public restroom - but it's typically well used. The splash pad is great and so is the playground. Parking can be an issue - you may have to walk or park up a hill.
It is the oldest Park with lovely trees. We did a picnic with kids. Kids enjoyed the rides. We carried out own food and drinks. Nice benches are provided to sit and relax. Shoal creek water sound gives soothing feeling as an additional motivation to visit the Park.
The renovation to Pease Park turned out great! The new hiking trail is awesome, and they playgrounds are perfect for our kids.
